College 150:  The Intentional Learner

College 150, The Intentional Learner, assists students in assimilating to academic life and reinforces the value of a Liberal Arts education. The course will help students to -

• Understand the significance of a liberal arts education
• Examine their role in the learning process
• Understand and apply college study skills like test taking, note taking, and college level reading proficiency
• Understand important CNU policies and procedures
• Develop long - and short-term goals for college success
• Explore career and academic major opportunities, and
• Prepare for academic advising

College 150, The Intentional Learner, is a 2 credit course taught by University administrators with specific knowledge in enhancing student success and academic research skills.
